Little Wins Second Consecutive PNGA Senior Women's Amateur

Hayden Lake, Idaho – Jackie Little of Port Alberni, B.C. came from behind to win her second PNGA Senior Women’s Amateur title in a row.

Little’s victory at Hayden Lake Country Club in Hayden Lake, ID, paired with her RCGA Senior Women’s Amateur title and second round appearance at the U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur, caps off one of the most impressive seasons by a Northwest Senior Woman in recent history.

Little started the day two shots behind first round leader Terri Frohnmayer of Salem, OR. Both players posted front 9 scores of 2-over par 38 while playing in the same group, setting up a fantastic finishing nine holes. Little would birdie the par 5 10th hole narrowing Frohnmayer’s lead to one and then would take the lead on the very next hole after Frohnmayer’s double bogey at the par 3 11th. Little never looked back as she closed the door posting a 1-under par 35 on the back nine for a final round 1-over par 73 and a two day total of 2-over par 146. Sharing second place with Frohnmayer four strokes off the lead at 6-over par 150 was Alison Murdoch of Victoria, B.C.
