CJGA Junior - Svensson Qualifies at Age 15 for Canadian Tour Event

Markham, ON – The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) is proud to announce one of their members, Adam Sevnsson of Surrey, BC qualified for the Canadian Professional Golf Tour’s City of Surrey Invitational this past Monday. 15-year-old Svensson shot a remarkable 68 (-4) at the qualifying event and rightfully earned his spot in the tournament.

Coming off a successful 2008 season, Svensson represented CJGA Team Canada at the Junior Worlds Golf Championship in San Diego, CA. This year he is off to a great start with the CJGA, having one win under his belt, and three other top three finishes, he is quickly proving that he is a junior golfer on the rise.
Sevnsson will tee off tomorrow at Hazelmere Golf Course alongside esteemed Canadian golfers such as Stuart Anderson, Adam Spiers and Kris Wasylowic, along with a number of former CJGA members including JC Deacon, Michael Gligic, Mark Leon, Peter Laws, and James Lepp to name a few.
